In 1986, my father took part in the Filipino EDSA/People Power Revolution that shut down the streets of Manila to overthrow a corrupt, dictatorial president. Four decades later, after moving to Chicagoland to give me a better life, I carry that tradition in my heart. Marches, rallies, campaigns, community events, and the like bring a community together in ways social media alone cannot. In a world falling apart, I have taken to documenting what I can of it.
All power to all the people.
